NSBCE goal is to strengthen our local, and national biomedical engineering communities in order to enhance human health and wellbeing. Your assistance directly benefits these initiatives. You may direct funds to:
NSBCE President’s Initiative Fund
This discretionary fund allows for the NSBCE President and Executive Committee to address issues facing NSBCE members and the field in general. Use of the fund may include:
• Special topic summits (e.g.- education, policy, diversity)
• Best graduating students award.
• Award for the student with the best bachelor’s project/thesis
• Award for individuals who create a working prototype of any medical device in conformity with the acceptable standard.
• New initiatives such as partnerships, new special interest groups, and policy initiatives
NSBCE Voluntary Discretionary Fund
Your generous contribution will enable us to serve our members by providing our membership with things such as:
• Student travel awards for meetings
• Student design and educational innovation support
• Travel awards for participants of partnering programs and organizations
